A large scale illegal marijuana grow operation was discovered inside a Victorville home Saturday night. The grow operation was discovered by SBCo/Victorville Fire when they responded to the house after receiving reports of a possible house fire. Arriving units found the garage door was hot to the touch but they didn’t see any smoke or other indication of fire. After unsuccessfully attempting to make contact with any residents, fire personnel made a forced entry and discovered the grow operation. SBCo Fire radio traffic indicated that the house contained a large scale grow operation. SBSO Victorivlle was called to take over the investigation. The grow house was located at 12902 Arvila Drive. The grow house was also located next door to a public school (Cobalt Institute of Math & Science 14045 Topaz Road).
