UNION STATION: Suspect Requires Extraction After Pursuit Crash

LAPD was in pursuit of a white sedan with three occupants Wednesday when it crashed just outside of Union Station. One woman nearby was injured when she was hit by flying debris from the crash. One male suspect was taken into custody with minor injuries while the female driver required extraction with the jaws of life. She was conscious and breathing when she was pulled from the wreckage and transported to a hospital. Another suspected passenger ran from the scene and police are still looking for that suspect.
