Caught on Camera: iPhone Stolen in Subway

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individuals depicted in the attached surveillance photos and video wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 108 Precinct / Transit District 20. The following was reported to police:

On Saturday, March 13, 2021 at approximately 1545 hours, an unidentified male individual as well as an unidentified female individual approached a 23-year-old female victim inside of the Queens Plaza Subway Station and removed her Apple iPhone phone from her hand after forcefully throwing her to the ground. The individuals fled, on foot, toward the Queensboro Plaza Subway Station. The victim was transported, by EMS, to Mount Sinai Hospital – Queens with injuries to her face and head in stable condition.

The first individual is described as a light-skinned male, approximately 25 – 30 years of age, approximately 6′ – 6′ 4″ tall, approximately 180 lbs and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black hat, black and a gray backpack.

The second individual is described as a dark-skinned female, approximately 25 – 30 years of age, approximately 5′ 5″ tall, approximately 200 lbs and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and glasses.
