LUCERNE VALLEY, CALIFORNIA – On Saturday night, June 5th, around 10:20 PM, four young girls, age 11 to 13 were struck by a hit and run driver. Three of the girls died at the scene. One was airlifted to a trauma center. A makeshift memorial at the accident site draws community members who stop and talk about the event. One of those who stopped, Lori Napier, said that she was the mother of one of the girls and the grandmother of another. Accident occurred in the 11600 block of Camp Rock Road just north of Rabbit Springs Road. In the video you can also see multiple pickup trucks hauling water to area marijuana grows.
