SANTA FE SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA – Just after 2:00 am, an SUV lost control and slammed into a light pole splitting the vehicle in half. Firefighters from the Santa Fe Springs Fire Department attempted to free the man however the man was pronounced deceased on scene.
