QUEENS: Man Shot at Fried Chicken Eatery

1.4.2020 | by Adam Balhetchet | JAMAICA, Queens – A man was shot. According to police, It happened at 3:46 am early Saturday morning. That is when the NYPD’s shotspotter technology alerted police to shots fired at the intersection of Sutphin Blvd and Liberty Ave, just in front of New York Fried Chicken. When police arrived, they found a 26-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the lower back. The victim was treated and transported to Jamaica Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for four black males, with one of them wearing a black hoodie. We witnessed one male yelling at police and then getting arrested. Police are not officially confirming if this arrest is related to the shooting.
