SOUTH LA, CALIFORNIA – A LAPD Newton officer requested backup for a man with a gun on San Pedro and Vernon. Seconds later the officer broadcasted shots fired and requested help. Officers were able to take two suspects into custody. No one was hit in the shooting. Unknown at this time who did the shooting.
