ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA – The first 100 firefighters of the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) received the Moderna vaccine today at the Regional Fire Operations and Training Center (RFOTC). The fire department worked with the Orange County Health Care Agency to set priority for the first responders to be among the first to be vaccinated. The vaccine does not need to be stored at extremely low temperatures however just like the Pfizer vaccine, injections will be given in two segments 28 days apart from each other.
