San Gabriel: Barricaded Suspect Dead After Hours Long Stand-Off

A man barricaded himself inside a residence after an assault took place on a family member. The suspect then lit a fire in three residences where he was locked down. Swat decided to use less lethal gas to bring the suspect out of the home, the suspect exited the front door with what appeared to be a shotgun and was shot by officers. The officers immediately rendered aid but the suspect died at the scene.
