Early Monday morning September 17, 2018 the City of Rialto Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a residential structure fire in the City’s north end. The fire was reported around 1:55am in the 19500 block of Lupin Avenue. The first arriving engine company found a pick-up truck, in the driveway of a home, fully engulfed with fire with extension to the residence. Firefighters made an aggressive fire attack and were able to knock the fire down in under 30 minutes. Initial reports indicated a mother and several children were home at the time and were able to escape without injury. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
