GLASGOW, SCOTLAND UNITED KINGDOM – Rangers fans flooded Glasgow after Rangers FC won its 55th Scottish Premiership title, making it the only Team to do so in the Scottish Premiership.
Police Scotland made arrests and fined those that did not leave the area due to Coronavirus restrictions in place.
Several benches were destroyed and empty drinks containers and bottles lay on the ground after the crowd left.
On Twitter, FM of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon congratulated Rangers on their win but disapproved of the crowds that followed, many calling on the resignation of Chief Superintendent Mark Sutherland, Divisional Commander for Greater Glasgow Division.
