LONG ISLAND CITY, Queens – A 4 alarm fire broke out at a commercial auto body shop located at 23-59 Borden Ave 8 pm Saturday in the confines of the 109 Precinct. FDNY had 39 units and over 170 firefighters on scene. 6 tower ladders were operating at the height of the fire. The fire was under control at 12:30 am. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation of the fire marshalls.
