AZUSA – California Highway Patrol along with Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a reported traffic accident with the vehicle on fire and one person trapped eastbound to 210 fwy at Azusa Ave. Once firefighters and officers arrived on scene they located one victim outside of the vehicle and a second victim, believed to be the driver, trapped inside the vehicle with the vehicle fully engulfed. Firefighters were able to put out the fire and located one victim dead inside the vehicle. The passenger was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Unknown at the time how the accident occurred.
