PORTER RANCH: Stabbing Suspect OIS

Around 2315, LAPD and LAFD responded to reports of a stabbing, in which the suspect was a domestic partner, and the female was down in the street, in a gated community at 20833 Sardinia Way. Arriving LAPD units encountered the suspect and an OIS occurred, and LAPD help call was put out for the officers at the scene. Per LAPD radio traffic, two people were transported to the hospital, one of whom was the female stabbing victim. It is unknown if the suspect was transported to the hospital. LAPD has a command post setup at Trieste Lane & Trapani Lane. LAPD Devonshire Division is handling the incident. The surrounding streets in the area are blocked off at this time.
