3-ALARM FIRE ENGULFS HBO MINISERIES SET | 5.9.19 | Video by Donald Odom III | ELLENVILLE, New York (LoudlabsNYC) – A 3-alarm fire broke out at an HBO miniseries movie set. It happened at 1 am on Thursday, at 613 Automotive Group on South Main St, in Ulster County, NY. Ulster County Fire/Rescue transmitted 3-alarms for this fire. Units responded included Ellenville Fire Department, Napanoch Fire Department, Ghramsville Fire Department, the New York State Police, Ellenville Police Department, and several other state and local agencies. Three residential houses located behind the auto dealership were also damaged. No one was injured but several antique cars were damaged. The HBO miniseries “I know this much is true” was being filmed there starring Mark Ruffalo & Melissa Leo. The reported cause of the fire is an electrical wiring issue that caused a spark and ignited equipment being used for the production of the film. The fire is still under investigation at the moment.
