MANHATTAN: Man Shot Dead in Harlem

Man Shot Dead in Harlem | 4.24.19 | by Adam Balhetchet | HARLEM, Manhattan (DCPI) – On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at approximately 0144 hours, police responded to a ShotSpotter activation outside 180 Lenox Avenue, within the confines of the 28 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 40-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head, lying outside 86 West 119 Street. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing. The deceased has been identified as White, Thomas.
