Quick action by SBSO Hesperia deputies saved a man who had fallen into the California Aqueduct Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 12 Noon in the 13300 block of Main Street. A man, who had been fishing, slipped into the aqueduct. Arriving deputies provided assistance until SBCo Fire paramedics arrived on scene. It is unclear if the victim self-extricated himself or whether the deputies got him out of the water. The victim’s fishing gear and bike are visible in the video.
