A rollover traffic accident Wednesday night in Hesperia sent two people to the hospital, one, by Air Ambulance, to a trauma center. The accident occurred around 9:20 PM in the 10700 block of Hesperia Road. The vehicle was traveling northbound on Hesperia Road at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control. The vehicle appeared to have swerved onto a dirt shoulder and then rolled multiple times before coming to a stop after smashing into a parked car. SBCo Fire reports indicated that one person pierced by a tree branch when he was ejected from the vehicle. A witness stated that it appeared as if the driver had been drinking. There are also indications that the vehicle was being followed by a SBSO Hesperia deputy at the time of the accident. SBSO Hesperia is handling the investigation.
