VERMONT SQUARE – One person is dead and another person is injured after a shooting at Vermont Square Park. Officers from LAPD 77th Division responded to a reported shooting at around 1:30AM and found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. LAFD responded and pronounced one of the victims dead and transported the other in unknown condition. No shell casings were found in the area and the suspect was last seen in a black sedan driving towards Vermont.
