The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified individuals who are seen in the attached video and photos who are sought in connection with a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 46 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at approximately 1525 hours, in front of 8 East 177 Street, two unidentified individuals both riding a black moped cut off the 27-year-old male victim, who was also riding a moped. The two individuals then attempted to take the victim’s moped, but a physical altercation ensued between the victim and Individual #1, who managed to remove the victim’s cell phone. Bystanders at the location began to intervene and both individuals fled the location on their moped traveling eastbound on East 177 Street then southbound on Walton Avenue. The victim sustained a scrape to the left knee and pain to his back but refused medical attention at the scene.
Individual #1 is described as a male with a medium complexion, approximately in his 20s, 5’6 to 5’9″ tall, with a slim build, last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with white stripes across the shoulders, dark pants and white sneakers.
Individual #2 is described as a male with a medium complexion, approximately in his 20s, 5’6 to 5’9″, with a heavy build, last seen wearing a black face mask, a dark gray hooded sweatshirt with a logo on the front that says, “NOWHERE TO GO”, black sweatpants with white outlined lettering and black sneakers.
Surveillance video and photos depicting the two individuals, obtained from the incident location, are attached and available at DCPI.
