INDUSTRY, CALIFORNIA – On Tuesday Night, February 16, 2021 Los Angeles County Sheriff Industry Station and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision at 18200 Gale Ave and Plaza Dr. Sheriff’s deputies were the first on scene to the crash and located a male armed with a handgun. A deputy involved shooting occurred at Gale Ave and Plaza Dr. The suspect fled on foot into the business area where deputies were able to take the suspect into custody near a dumpster. The suspect was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. Unknown at this time if the suspect was shot by deputies. Sheriff’s deputies have both directions on E Gale Ave closed as they handle their investigation.
