Chase Suspect Runs To Mommy & Gets Tackled | AZUSA, CA 2.22.21


AZUSA, CALIFORNIA – California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park Station attempted to pull over a gray Honda Civic for speed. The suspect did not stop and a pursuit started northbound on the 605 freeway at Arrow Highway. The suspect circled the area around the 210 freeway and Vernon Ave. The suspect kept circling the same area in the city of Azusa and Covina. The suspects parents lived in Azusa near S Aspen Ave and W Paramount St. The suspect and the mother were both on the phone with California Highway Patrol Dispatch. The suspect’s vehicle ran over a spike strip causing the front driver’s side tire to go flat and eventually come off. The suspect made his way to mom and that is where CHP tackled him and took him into custody.
