RIVERSIDE – On 06/05/21, Riverside City Fire Department responded to reports of a vegetation fire near structures in the 2900 block of Valencia Hill Dr. First arriving engine reports a large vegetation fire in a field and hill and is currently threatening a home. A 3 alarmed fire response was requested by the Incident Commander on scene. Assistance from CalFire and CalFire aircraft arrived on the scene and assisted Riverside City Firefighters on controlling the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and evacuation was made for homes around the area.
