VICTORVILLE CA – PIO UPDATE At 7:12 p.m. deputies responded to a call at 15135 Kimberly Dr. (apartments) in Victorville. The two-year-old victim suffered stab wounds and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown. The investigation is underway to determine the details of this incident and identify the suspect. I have no other details at this time and will update when new information is available for release.
A stabbing in Victorville Wednesday night has sent one person to a trauma center. Victorville Fire radio traffic indicated that the victim was a ‘pediatric’ victim. The incident occurred around 7:15 PM at the Kimberly Park Apartments (15135 Kimberly Drive). SBSO Victorville deputies were dispatched at 7:13 on a stabbing call and located the victim. Victorville Fire treated the victim and requested an air ambulance to transport the victim to a trauma center. Paramedics requested the patient be flown to Loma Linda Medical Center because the victim was a pediatric patient. The patient was transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center and transferred to a Mercy Air Ambulance to be flown to the trauma center. It is believed the suspect fled the area before the arrival of deputies. SBSO Victorville is the handling agency. The condition of the victim is not known. An inquiry to the PIO has been made.
