RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA – Saturday afternoon, June 26, 2021 the Riverside Police Department along with the City of Riverside Fire Department & AMR responded to reports of a carjacking with injuries. The carjacking was reported around 2:53pm in the 5800 block of Crest Avenue. Initial reports indicated a woman was carjacked from the home and dragged briefly while the suspect fled with her vehicle. The woman suffered injuries to her face and was transported via ground ambulance to an area hospital. No suspect or vehicle description were immediately available. A large kids blow up slide along with other party items were seen at the home, however, it wasn’t clear if the woman was attending a party at the time of the carjacking. No further details were available.
