Four people were injured when an a alleged DUI driver struck several pedestrians in West Hollywood, according to Lieutenant Mancinas of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. It all happened in front of the Whisky-a-Go-Go concert venue at the corner of Clark Street and Sunset Boulevard. Witnesses say the driver was trying to make a turn at the intersection when he somehow lost control before striking several band members who were standing outside the venue. All of the victims suffered non-life threatening injuries, says Mancinas. Authorities would not confirm if the driver was a Lyft driver, though a sticker with the ride share company’s logo can be seen on the car. Mancinas as says the driver did not have any passengers at the time. Several witness say they one of the victims land on top of the windshield of the car. Employees of the venue, who did not want to talk on camera, say they saw the entire incident unfold on their surveillance camera.
