PLEASANT PLAINS, STATEN ISLAND, NEW YORK – A Tractor trailer flipped and the driver was trapped. The driver had to be rescued by EMS. This occurred at 1 AM Monday on the southbound side of the West Expressway in Pleasant Plains, Staten Island. EMS was able to rescue the 64-year truck driver and he is reported only suffered minor head injuries. He was taken to university north hospital after being extracted from the tractor.
