A family was displaced and two people were injured late Sunday night when a car crashed into a Victorville home. The accident occurred around 9:15 in the 9600 block of Duncan Road. Both injured people were from the car. One of the injured had to be flown to a trauma center for treatment. No one inside the home were injured but the family was not allowed to stay in the home. Red Cross was called to assist the family. The accident occurred at the intersection of Duncan Road and Baldy Mesa Road. The driver of a Lexus appeared to have lost control while traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver left the roadway, went through an open field, through a fence before smashing in the home. The Lexus can be seen wedged under a front porch. SBCo Fire Rescue Helicopter H-325 was requested for the seriously injured patient and flown to the trauma center at Antelope Valley Regional Medical Center. CHP Victorville is handling the investigation (CHP CAD Incident # 00297).
