An Auto vs Pedestrian accident in Victorville Sunday night has sent two people to the hospital, one in full arrest. The accident occurred around 7:00 PM Sunday night in the 14500 block of El Evado Road. Two vehicles, a sedan and a pickup truck, were heading northbound on El Evado Road when a pedestrian entered the path of the vehicles. It appears that one vehicle attempted to swerve, possibly to avoid the pedestrian, causing a traffic accident. SBCo Fire was dispatched to a traffic collision with possible ejection. Arriving paramedics found a victim in the roadway in full arrest. The pedestrian was transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center in grave condition. No Air Ambulance was requested. A second person suffered non life threatening injuries and was also transported to the hospital. It is not unknown if the second patient was also a pedestrian or was in one of the vehicles. Both vehicles suffered major damage. The SBSO Victorville is handling the investigation.
