A teenage boy was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross a dark stretch of road in Victorville, The accident occurred around 8:25 PM in the 14000 block of Mojave Drive (near West Trail). The speed limit on this stretch of Mojave Drive is 60 mph. According to Victorville Fire scanner traffic, the victim was a 16 year old boy. Arriving paramedics report that the victim was breathing but unconscious. An air ambulance was requested and the teenager was airlifted to the trauma center at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. A blue pickup truck was seen at the scene.
