RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA – CHP along with Riverside City Fire and AMR responded to a traffic collision with cut and rescue on Interstate 215 N. at Martin Luther King Blvd.
Upon arrival fire units noticed a solo vehicle traffic collision. The vehicle had rolled over several times taking out the rightside guardrail. The vehicle involved in the accident was so damaged that the occupants had to be cut out of the vehicle. CHP had to shut down all lanes of the freeway. Two individuals were transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance. One victim had moderate injuries and the second had minor injuries.
CalTrans arrived on scene to do emergency guardrail repair.
