CLAREMONT – 911 calls came in of a stabbing in front Yogurtland at 101 N. Indian Hill Blvd and W Bonita Ave. Once officers arrived on scene they located a victim in front of Yogurtland with a stab wound near his heart. The suspect fled the scene on W Second and N Oberlin Ave were officers were able to catch up to the suspect and take him into custody. Officers detained a second person, unknown at this time if he’s a suspect or a witness. The suspect was checked out by fire and paramedics and had minor cut wounds on his hands and some of the victim’s blood on his hands. Claremont Pd did a field show up with a witness with a positive ID that he was the suspect.
