CLAREMONT – Claremont Pd received multiple 911 calls of a gunshot victim to the rear of the Motel 6. Once officers arrived on scene they located a vehicle that was driving away from the motel. Claremont Pd conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and found a gunshot victim in the car, unknown if that’s the suspect vehicle or the victim’s at that time. Claremont Pd detained three people and transported one male to Pomona Valley Hospital in critical condition. Unknown at this time how the shooting occurred or if the victim was shot in a room or inside the vehicle. Pomona Pd is advising Claremont Pd that this vehicle was possibly used in a robbery in their city.
