POMONA – At 7:47 pm Pomona Pd and Los Angeles County Fire Department received multiple 911 calls of a pedestrian that was hit by a pickup truck at S Garey Ave and Grand Ave. Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene they located a body lying in the middle of the street with his leg separated from his body. The suspect that hit the perdition fled the scene but came back a couple of minutes later and was detained by Pomona Pd. The victim was transported to Pomona Valley hospital in critical condition.
