COLTON, CALIFORNIA – At approximately 1:55 AM, Colton PD and Colton Fire were dispatched to reports of a drive-by shooting in the 720 Block of Kippy Dr in the city of Colton. On arrival first responders located one male victim unresponsive in the street. The victim was transported to an area hospital with CPR in progress. Minutes after the first shooting was reported, a second shooting was reported nearby. Colton Fire and Colton PD responded to the second shooting in the 1070 Block of W. Kimberly Ave in Colton and located another male unresponsive in the street. The male victim was pronounced deceased on scene. Colton Police is investigating both shootings which are believed to be related/connected. One female family member was detained at the first scene after fighting with officers. It’s unknown if she was released at the scene. No other information was provided.
