VICTORVILLE, CALIFORNIA – A cyclist had to be flown to a trauma center Sunday night in Victorville after being struck by a pick-up truck. The collision occurred around 7:30 PM in the intersection of Nisqualli Road and Hickory Avenue. A witness (on camera) stated that the bicyclist was attempting to get across the street when struck. The witness stated that both the bike and cyclist were thrown into the air in the collision. The cyclist was treated by paramedics and then flown to the trauma center at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The rider’s condition is not known. The driver of the pick up truck remained at the scene.
