POMONA, CALIFORNIA – At 1:48 am California Highway Patrol along with Los Angeles County Fire received multiple 911 calls of a traffic collision westbound 60 at Garey Avenue. Once firefighters and CHP arrived on scene they located a total of three vehicles involved. One vehicle was in the middle of lanes with a man near it with his is leg amputated. The driver was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital in critical condition. A second driver was also transported to Pomona Valley Hospital with minor injuries. Unknown at this time how the accident occurred. California Highway Patrol is investigating.
