Tiger Woods Crash | ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, CA 2.23.21


ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, CALIFORNIA – (TMZ) Tiger Woods was hospitalized following a bad single-car accident in L.A. County on Tuesday morning — with officials requiring the jaws of life to free him from the vehicle.
“On February 23, 2021, at approximately 7:12 AM, LASD responded to a single vehicle roll-over traffic collision on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes,” officials say.
“The vehicle was traveling northbound on Hawthorne Boulevard, at Blackhorse Road, when it crashed. The vehicle sustained major damage.”
“The driver and sole occupant was identified as PGA golfer, Eldrick ‘Tiger’ Woods,” officials confirmed.
“Mr. Woods was extricated from the wreck with the ‘jaws of life’ by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics, then transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries.”
Unclear what caused the accident. Cops are investigating.
45-year-old Tiger was in the area for his annual Genesis Invitational golf tournament at the Riviera Country Club in the Pacific Palisades.

Video shows the crashed SUV and recovery of vehicle and items from the vehicle. The SUV was a complementary vehicle given to Tiger while in town hosting is own event. Over the past weekend, Max Homa won the Genesis Open at Riviera Golf Course in Pacific Palisades. The event was hosted by Tiger and sponsored by Genesis. The make and model of the SUV possibly the GENESIS GV80. In the video a can of something can be seen on the bed of a tow truck while the area is being clean by the tow truck operators. A heavy tow was brought in to crane the SUV up and out from the hillside. Once the SUV was up-righted, lifted, and moved, deputies retrieved items from the vehicle and placed them in a squad car. The SUV was towed away as photographers got the ending shots.
