SYLMAR: Fatal Party Shooting

Around 0100, LAPD Mission Division Officers responded to reports of a shooting near Dronefield & Tyler.Arriving units observed a vehicle leaving the scene. LAPD officers went after the vehicle, unsure if it was occupied by the suspects. The vehicle crashed. Officers found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound inside. Nearby they found a second victim suffering from a gunshot wound. LAFD responded to the scene. Both victims were transported to Holy Cross Hospital. Per an LAPD officer on the scene, one of the victims died at the hospital around 0230. LAPD has Tyler Street Shut down between Dronefield & Borden. LAPD Valley Bureau Homicide and Mission Division are handling the investigation.
