At around 1:41AM LAFD received word of a car over the embankment on the SR-118 East ramp to the 210 West. LAFD found a car over the embankment but found no driver or passengers. Upon leaving the scene, LAFD found two males walking along the 210 freeway a few hundred feet away from the crash. Firefighters determined they were the driver and passenger of the vehicle that went off the freeway and attempted to stop them but they continued walking away towards the Maclay off ramp from the Westbound 210 freeway. Firefighters followed the two with their firetrucks until CHP arrived to confront the men. After a lengthy Field Sobriety test of the driver, he was taken into custody.
