LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK – At approximately 1:30AM Suffolk County Police responded to the Bay Shore Motel at 300 Bay Shore Road for a reported person robbed. The complainant was able to track her iPhone to an address in the Islip area. When Suffolk Police arrived at the location of the cell phone, a gray Nissan with New Jersey license plates took off. Police pursued the subject through Islip, Central Islip, and Brentwood. Finally the suspect crashed his vehicle at Dunton Ave and Pine Aire Drive near the Deer Park Railroad Station. Exclusive video shows the man in police custody. It is unclear if this subject is connected to an earlier shooting where shots were fired into a home at 1788 5th Avenue in Brentwood around 1AM.
