POMONA – Pomona Pd attempted to pull over a black four-door vehicle. The suspect did not stop and a short pursuit started with a male driver and a female passenger. Within a couple of minutes of the pursuit starting the suspect crashed at the intersection of North Palomares St and E Center St. The suspect crashed into a red vehicle with a mother and a child inside the vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody and the female passenger in the black vehicle was telling the officer she told him several times to stop. The mother was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital with minor injuries. The child was in his car seat and did not suffer any injuries but was checked out by firefighters. The suspect did crash into a gate of a residence. Unknown at this time why the suspect fled from officers.
