EL MONTE, CALIFORNIA – El Monte PD were in pursuit of a pickup truck for reckless driving in their city. The suspect entered the eastbound 10 freeway in the city of Baldwin Park. The suspect continued on the EB 10 freeway at high-speeds exiting at N. White Ave in the city of Pomona. The suspect exited the freeway and crashed into a fence and took off on foot. A K9 unit from El Monte PD chased the suspect down before giving up about a half a block down from the crash in front of a garage. The bad guy was taken into custody along with a female passenger.
