SUN VALLEY: Boat vs Hydrant

Witnesses report a pickup truck hauling a boat on a trailer was speeding down Peoria when it hit a bump in the road and collided with the hydrant. Witnesses did not want to be identified but said they saw the driver unhitch the boat, take off, and then circle back around a few times before disappearing. Firefighters were able to shut the water off in about 15 minutes. LAPD is investigating the collision.
