RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA – On Friday morning, January 01, 2021 the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to reports of a fence on fire close to a residence. The fire was reported around midnight in the 4700 block of Elderwood Court. The first arriving resources reported a fence on fire up against a structure with wires sparking. Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire to the fence, a tree and a shed. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
