RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA – The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to reports of smoke coming from a storage unit. The fire was reported around 11:47pm in the 9800 block of Arlington Avenue. The first arriving engine company reported heavy smoke coming from one of the storage units. Firefighters used a saw to cut through a metal rollup door to gain access to the fire. The fire appears to have stated inside the unit and was contained to the contents of that unit. A investigator was requested to the scene to help determine the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported.
