HIGHLAND PARK, CALIFORNIA – A multi vehicle crash involving five vehicles occurred around 9:30pm at the intersection of Avenue 56 and N Figueroa St. The driver of a Dodge Challenger was said to be possibly speeding when he collided with the vehicles that were stopped at a red light. The driver of the Challenger and the white sedan were taken to an area hospital in unknown condition. The drivers and passengers of the other three vehicles were not transported and were just checked and released by LAFD. LAPD traffic is investigating the crash. No word if the accident involved drugs or alcohol. No further information available.
