LAPD and LAFD responded to the scene of a shooting at 5846 2nd Ave early Monday. When they arrived they found one victim down. That victim was transported by LAFD to an area hospital in unknown condition. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and then a car speeding away. LAPD has blocked off the street where the shooting occurred for an investigation.
