COVINA, CALIFORNIA – On Friday, April 9, 2021, Los Angeles County Fire Department and Covina Fire Department responded to a school on fire at 16209 E San Bernardino Rd and N Vincent Ave. Once firefighters arrived on scene they located a school with heavy smoke and fire showing. One Los Angeles County firefighter sustained burns to his neck due to debris falling on him from inside a classroom. The firefighter was transported to a local hospital. Unknown at the time how the fire started. Firefighters do you have an arson team in route to handle the investigation.
