On 6-22-18 at approximately 0018, LACoFD and CHP responded to reports of a traffic collision with persons trapped on the SB 14 Freeway at Golden Valley. Arriving units found a BMW sedan that had slammed into the back of a semi truck. Firefighters declared the driver of the BMW DOA. Nobody else was injured in this crash. CHP has the SB Golden Valley offramp closed along with 3 lanes closed. The cause of the crash is unknown, and the duration of the closure is unknown as well. CHP Newhall is handling the fatality investigation.
